Skin Disorder
This is a chronic, non healing stasis leg ulcer case with pseudomonas infection. Before coming to our clinic, the patient (female, 65 yrs old) had gone through, in a period of 3 years, a variety of intensive treatments including IV antibiotics, and was finally recommended for an amputation surgery. We started to treat her on October 2005, using combined Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. The wound was closed after six months of treatment.
