Hello dr,

I am a female, 29, married. I have lost the hair in front of my forehead. It is going upward in both left and right side of the forehead. The density of the hair also gone. I am totally worried. Do you think Acupuncture can help.

Yes, acupuncture should help!  I would also recommend to take Chinese herbal medicine as well.  many factors can cause hair loss such as hormonal changes, illness, some medication, stress, ringworm infections, and diet habit.  People who like oily and spicy food tend to have more chance to have such problems. I recommend you contact your local acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine physician to discuss your treatment strategy.
I would be happy to provide evaluation of your condition if you are able to provide more detailed information such as your medical history, diet habit, photos of your tongue and scalp.  At meanwhile, try not to get stressed, avoid oily, spicy, sweet, chocolates, coffee, alcohol, and smoke.  keep hair clean but not over shampoo.
best wishes,
