I play on the Amateur Golf Tour twice a month and for whatever reason I have duffed my tee shot 5 of the last 6 times I played. This last Saturday happened again! It doesnt seem to matter if I hit balls before hand or not. Driver, 3 wood, mid iron. I have duffed em all. Now I know I feel a little nervous but not that bad. I have been playing golf for 30 years now and usually find myself struggling on the first tee of tournaments. I dont know if Im too stiff or am swinging too fast. My preshot routine is the same. I have good thoughts. I visualize the ball drawing on the fairway. I really do not have a negative thought in my mind. My guess is my nerves are effecting my muscles. Any help would be appreciated. smile
BTW, after my 60 yard dribble I went on to shoot 74 and win my flight. Go figure.
